San Diego (not finished)

The definition of where it means to live somewhere has been completely skewed. If you have not continuously lived in a certain place, but have amassed a large amount of time in one place over several periods, what do we call that?

I have not lived in San Diego, but during my remote work era I managed to accumulate a significant amount of time there. The strategy at the time was gather as many remote workers as possible to squeeze into a random rental property and work in the same space.

Someone needs to take over the entire dining room table with monitors, what do we do when 6 people all have a call at once, we actually were out until 4am the night before and are working east coast hours, the random drunk boys we invited into our house threw the wifi router across the room and then fell asleep on the couch (sitting upright), at least she's sharing the cost but does anyone actually know who this girl from Philidelphia is that is now in that one bedroom? Oh by the way I met a boy at the bar who has no housing so I also invited him to move in.

I'm going to set this up as following:

1.) neighborhood breakdown

2.) best places to eat

3.) parties

4.) adventures

**please not I have not figured out how you make it so that you can just click on one of the items above and the page will jump down to it. either scroll or us command F if you want to skip to a certain part lol sorry

neighborhood breakdown:

Pacific Beach (people just say PB)

I think the bigges

The locals in this area are becoming resentful

its one of these difficult situations where I want to promote the debachry that comes from 14 random people all going in on a rental becuase it's funny and your own chance to make your own reality TV show, but it is also destructive to the community (or lack there of) with high turn over, parties, disturbing the peace, etc

If you choose to go to this area, I encourage you to respect any locals you meet. Even if you are there for a short period of time, it would go a long way to simply say "Hi, I'll be your neighbor in the rental next door! What is life like here? If we're being disruptive please tell us so (or come join)." I did this with the family across one of my rental properties, and the father almost cried. I think his name was Michael.

best places to eat:

Before I even dive into this, an article that will serve you well when it comes to dining is

Okay my favorite Japenese place that is pretty hidden but very hard to get a seat at is Sushi Tadokoro . Tucked away in a very random unassuming spot just off the 5. MAKE A RESERVATION. I kept trying to spontaneously show up and they were literally like bitch die. Real deal for fish, not going to be a spicy mayo vibe. Michelin star, not going to break the bank but you know how it is with paying for sushi

Anyway, the best food you will find in San Diego is obviously Mexican. It is the most prominent, there are Asian and Italian spots as well, but truthfully it doesn't feel like as much as everything as we may find in other US cities.

Okay run as close as you can to the Mexican border for tacos. Chula Vista is where you want to be

The two following are the classic "go here to be original with your tacos" (but told to you by everyone):

Aqui es Texcoco

Tocos El Gordo

If you want to get even more rouge and go deeper than what's convenient off the highway, try:
